Sunday we were invited to the Renda resident for an Italian Pizza lunch. Teresa (Giannis mom) makes the most tasty home made italian pizzas we have ever tasted. And we finally got to meet Giannis sister, her husband and two gorgeous kids. After a massive meal of Pizza we headed out to go kangaroo safari. In the middle of the neighbourhood just 10 min from Giannis house there is a kangaroo sanctuary where you can go inside and get close up with the kangaroos. This was once again amazing. We have been up there a couple of times before and it is just fascinating. Then we went to the driving range and (tried) to shoot off some golf balls with more or less luck. The level of the golfing was so and so, it was more fun just to watch the others hitting everything else than the ball. After 75 balls each we headed off to Q room, a bar/game hall thing where we played a couple of rounds of pool. MB had to try the "Claw" and ended up with a little Woody doll from the movie Toy story, and a big Krusty (from simpsons) doll. Grace drove us home and suddenly this "little" guy crawled up from under her hood. We had to stop on a side road and send Jonas out to get it off the car so he get inside. Poor Grace got really scared, and I can still feel the chill down my spine. We think it was a huntsman(and that was not a BIG huntsman!), which is not venomous but still it is still pretty disgusting.
Friday and Saturday we didn't do much. Me and MB took out longboards and skated up to a park right next to swinburn uni. There we laided for a couple of hours and just enjoying the nice weather. It is finally warming up in Melbourne. On Saturday we had 30 degrees! Other than that we have been making a lot of hemp necklaces lately.
